"We help our clients succeed, not only in their legal battles but also in life."

We are a dedicated team of professionals who can help you with your legal needs. We are large enough to handle even the most complex litigation, but still small enough to give you and your case the individual attention you deserve.

Matthew Konchel

Matthew Konchel endeavors to practice law in a fashion that befits the noble Philadelphia trial lawyer tradition. “Our approach to the law is like old-school, iron-man football, when each player started both offense and defense. We litigate in both the civil and criminal courts and strive to dominate both venues.”

After a stint as a combat paratrooper with the “All-American” 82nd Airborne Division, Matthew worked in the corporate sector before attending Temple Law School. Graduating in 1998, he stayed on as Temple Law School’s Director of Development and Alumni Relations for six years before becoming Business Manager of the Kats Jamison van der Veen firm and a litigator of Pennsylvania and New Jersey criminal law and personal injury cases.

During his time at Temple Law School, Matthew made the Dean’s List, served as Notes & Comments Editor of the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal, competed on behalf of Temple in the Jessup International Moot Court Trial Team’s regional match-up in Washington D.C., competed on behalf of Temple in the American Bar Association’s Negotiation Competition regionals in Richmond, Virginia, captained the Temple University Graduate Rugby Team and led Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity through three-terms as Chapter President.

Matthew is also proud to have been selected by his peers for the last four (4) consecutive years as one of Pennsylvania's Rising Star Super Lawyers, and was publicly recognized as such in Philadelphia Magazine.

In addition to charity work with the Purple Heart and Manna of Philadelphia, Matthew is a member of the Young Professional’s Network of the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of the Temple Law Alumni Association.
