Previously, Don practiced at Korein Tillery, with offices in St. Louis, Missouri, and Belleville and Chicago, Illinois, where he litigated individual, mass tort, and class action cases in areas of law ranging from consumer fraud to toxic torts. Twice named a Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers, he has tried cases in Illinois, Missouri, Ohio and West Virginia, and was nominated as a Finalist for Trial Lawyer of the Year for 2003 by Trial Lawyers for Public Justice.
He received his Juris Doctorate magna cum laude from Saint Louis University School of Law, where he served as Editor-in Chief of the Saint Louis University Public Law Review, was awarded for best brief and best combined score in the moot court competition, and received numerous Academic Achievement Awards for having the highest grade in a class. He received his undergraduate degree in business economics.
Mr. Flack is licensed to practice law in state courts in Illinois, Missouri, Montana, and West Virginia, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fourth and Seventh Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Illinois and the Central District of Michigan. He serves on the Board of managers for the Illinois Trial lawyers Association and is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Missouri Association of Trail Attorneys, the Montana Bar, the Missouri Bar, the West Virginia State Bar, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Madison County Bar Association, for which he has served as Treasurer.
Don also serves as an Assistant States Attorney for Madison County, Illinois, and is a Trustee for the Village of Bethalto, Illinois, where he lives with his wife and three children. He is a founding member, and was voted the Inaugural President, of the Bethalto Education Foundation, as well as a co-founder and Director of the Bethalto Eagles Baseball and Softball club.
